Description

The Space Book is an album by American jazz saxophonist Booker Ervin featuring performances recorded in 1964 for the Prestige label, with his quartet including Jaki Byard on piano, Richard Davis on bass, and Alan Dawson on drums. Hands down my favorite Booker Ervin album!
This is the 1972 press in Very Good+ shape; the sleeve has a lot of edge wear but no split seams and the front and back are pretty clean. Inner sleeve replaced with a vinyl sleeve. The record itself has minor surface wear that does not affect play, had an ultrasonic clean and the sound is excellent, instruments are up front and great separation. Great copy of this hard to find record.
