Description
This is a fine copy from a 1991 U.S. reissue of the very rare sole LP by the Brigade, originally released in 1970. From Portland, Oregon, the group recorded this one LP for a custom label that specialized in records by high school and college choirs. It features what's sometimes described as proto-prog, with organ at the fore. My fave track is "Desert Song (You're All Alone)," which shifts between quiet passages and instrumental surges. This release was the first to reissue the LP in any format. The record comes in a plain white jacket with cover slicks pasted on both sides. The slicks are pristine, and the jacket is close to pristine with a little light corner creasing (M-). The disc is clean with a little light staining and scraping, and plays with a little light surface noise (M-). The record comes with a two-sided insert with the song lyrics on one side and a black and white drawing on the other (M-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
