Description
This is a rare stock copy of a single by a duo known as Bruce and Jerry: "Take this Pearl" b/w "I Saw Her First" (Arwin 45-1003). Releasedin 1959. Bruce is Bruce Johnston, later of Bruce & Terry (with Terry Day, or Terry Melcher), and then the Beach Boys. Jerry is Jerry Cooper, a high school friend of Bruce's. This is the very first single by Bruce Johnston (although he did arrange and play on Sandy Nelson's hit, "Teenbeat").
The labels are nice, given the age of this record. Some minor wear, but no writing, stickers, or tears. Cool red/maroon label! Most Arwin labels are pink. The vinyl has lots of nice gloss. Very minor wear in the grooves, but no significant scuffing can be detected. 45-PD-105 Side -1- is etched on the A side, and a slightly differnt matrix number on the B side: 45 PD-106- Side -2-. Overall, VG+ condition.
