Rare and collectable Blues LP. UK Harvest SHSP 4006 1st Pressing with “Gramophone Co” text on rim of labels and matrix numbers A1/B1. Original inner sleeve.
Side 1 Tracks: Talkin’ Bout Women, Riffin’, Buddy’s Blues
Side 2 Tracks: Hoochie Coochie Man, Five Long Years, Rock Me Mama, Ain’t No Need
Recorded for Blue Thumb Records in New York on December 18th, with Buddy Guy on acoustic guitar and vocals, Junior Wells on harmonica and vocals, and Junior Mance on piano.
The record is in superb condition. Sleeve and record both grade as “excellent”, as defined by Record Collector Magazine’s grading system. Sound quality is fantastic on both sides with no surface noise. The record is bright and shiny with no surface marks, and the labels are in pristine condition.
The Garrod and Lofthouse “flipback” sleeve and paper inner sleeve are also in excellent condition.
