Chirping Crickets EP M-/M-
This Listing is for a hard to find Buddy Holly & the Crickets EP on the Brunswick Label. It is THE CHIRPING CRICKETS EB71036. The Vinyl is in M- condition, as is the cover. The cover does have a very small (1/4") tear/split at top left side seam. It is Not a seam split, only on surface. Looks like it could be very easily repaired.. Please see pictures. PLease NOTE that THIS Auction includes both THE US Vinyl and the CANADIAN Vinyl. Both copies are M-. There is only one cover here though, with both 45's.
A very tough record to find. 1994 Goldmine Price Guide, lists this record at $330.00 in VG condition and $1000.00 in M-. That value includes one copy of the vinyl, not two. Value on the Canadian Record is the same as the US Version, and both of these originally came in the same (USA PRINTED) cover.
Grading is based on the following criteria
Mint = New Store Stock - We Don't Use this Grade
Mint- = Near New With Only One or Two Small, Insignificant Defects
VG++ = Extremely Nice. Would be Mint-, Except for a Couple of Light Scratches or Scuffs, Which Do Not Affect Play
VG+ = Nice, but Obviously Used Record That May Have a Series of Light Scuffs or Scratches. It Probably Plays with a Few Slight Pops and/or Light Background Noise, but has No Serious Problems.
VG = Well Used Record That Still Sounds OK When Played, but May Have Moderate Surface Noise, Pops, etc.
VG- = a very well-worn record that plays without skipping, and will do until a better copy can be found.
We do not use abbreviations for defects/condition, but will clearly detail any defects/Issues with the Cover and the Record. We will do our best to explain the defect, as well as photograph it.
