Description
Over the next few months I will be putting items from a BUDDY HOLLY & THE CRICKETS collection (plus related items) on to eBay (auctions and buy-it-now). The collection contains many rare and hard-to-find items...some demos and promotional records, rare singles, foreign issues, E.P.s and L.P.s etc. Please take a note of my eBay ID (mcvoutie) and come back each week to see what is on offer. I aim to offer at least 5 - 10 new items each week for the forseeable future. If you are a serious BUDDY HOLLY & THE CRICKETS collector you can't afford to miss this opportunity.

As a collector myself I am aware of what you want from an eBayer seller. I aim to post your purchase(s) within a maximum of 48 hours of receiving your payment. In many cases I try to to get items in the post the same day (or next) after receiving your payment. I pack records carefully and always obtain proof of posting from the Post Office. If you require EXTRA INSURANCE and/or RECORDED DELIVERY please let me know as soon as possible after the end of the auction.
I am not a dealer but I have many years experience in buying & selling records as a hobby and tend to specialise in items from the 50s, 60s and 70s. I use the standard Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
MINT/NEAR MINT: Used only on rare occasions. Unplayed (as new)/or very, very close to Mint...no marks, near perfect sleeve.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration I do not normally sell records that are below GOOD unless they have some rarity value.
PAYMENT PLEASE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE AUCTION END.
