Description

I am parting with some of my treasured LPs.  Here's a Great copy of Buddy Holly's SHOWCASE.  It's a FIRST US STEREO PRESSING on the RAINBOW BOWTIE LABEL.  It has a SAMPLE COPY NOT FOR SALE RED STICKER ON THE BACVK COVER.  The original 1964 STEREO versions are rarer than the mono one's
The vinyl plays a perfect NM, but the cover has a touch of ring wear, most noticeable the top front and back.  Also, there 's a 4" crack to the spine towards the top, and an 1/8" dent to the top right corner.  Somebody wrote in a ballpoint star on back top right under the catalog number for some odd reason... This comes with THE ORIGINAL INNER that is in outstanding condition, and exemplifies how little this copy was played.  The LP PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY and is M-.

This LP was released after Holly's death, and contains previously unreleased songs.  It's an amazing LP, and I consider it an essential LP in any Rock music library.  You can see the sweetness in his eyes on the cover photo, and he wrote the sweetest songs of the 50's.  Those songs were huge inspiration to so many that came after him.
