THE CRICKETS – The “Chirping” Crickets – On Brunswick, EB 71036. Near Mint! This is an original 1957, 45 rpm, MONO, EP Featuring Buddy Holly.
Here is another rare find and in immaculate condition too. With Buddy Holly on Guitar and Vocals, are Joe Mauldin on Bass, Jerry Allison on Drums, & Niki Sullivan on second Guitar. The tracks are: That’ll Be The Day, I’m Lookin’ For Someone To Love, Oh Boy!, & Not Fade AwayCondition
The cover is in immaculate condition with high gloss, vivid color, and very rigid with perfect edges. There is a 1 inch center seam split in the spine. It’s a very clean split. So clean, that if it were taped from the inside you would not know it was there. There is also a minor corner ding visible on the back upper left corner. No ring-wear, creases, or writing on it, front or back. The back cover is white. I’ll grade it a NM- because of the split even though it looks much better than that.The vinyl is shiny, and in immaculate condition with only a few faint scuffs on it. You have to be looking for the scuffs to see them. The labels look perfect with no markings or wear at all on either side. I play tested it to check it out and I did hear a faint tick for 3 revolutions at the lead in of “Oh Boy”, but nothing else. Even the silence between tracks is quiet. I’ll grade it a NM- just to be conservative and start the bidding at $50.00 with no reserve.
I ship in LP Mailers with rigid corners and I separate the record from the jacket to prevent it from damaging the cover during transit. I also add extra cardboard to make the package sturdier. It weighs a little more this way but I’ve never had a report of a damaged record.PAYMENT – I prefer Money Orders or Cashiers checks, but will also take PayPal, and personal checks from U.S. banks only, and only if you have outstanding feedback, at my discretion. Cash is good too. Payment must be received within 7 days after the close of auction. If you’re unable to pay on time, “Don’t Bid”.
U.S. BIDDERS – Shipping is $3 for media mail anywhere in the continental U.S. Add 50 cents more for each additional 45 when combining shipping with my other auctions.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS – Shipping will be quoted after the auction closes. Basically, I charge actual US postal rates plus $1 for the box and shipping materials. I will not allow extra time for international bidders. So, if you’re not able to complete the transaction in my time frame, “Don’t Bid”.
Insurance is optional but highly recommended, I’m not responsible for packages once they’re shipped.
