BUNNY CLARKE - Be Thankful / UPSETTERS - Dubbing In The Back Seat (Orchid) - 7" - 1975
Original pressing of this highly sought-after Lee Perry-produced Orchid 7" featuring Bunny 'Rugs' Clarke's killer rendition of Be Thankful backed by its dub. The vinyl retains a good sheen with some light surface marks, fine light hairlines, light and some lightish scratches and scuffs. Unfortunately there is a burn mark, caused by a cigarette or something more herbal, midway through the B-side which measures approximately 8mm in diameter (see scan). This causes the track to stick, thus this listing is based solely on the A-side, so please bid accordingly.
A-side (LP 5277-RRM): A little crackly at the start, thereafter there are very small, small, smallish and some moderate pops and clicks. Grade - VG- up to VG/VG+
B-side (LP 5278-RRM) : There are very small, small, smallish and occasional moderate pops and clicks up until the 1 minute 15 seconds mark, when the burn highlighted above causes the track to stick. The final 1 minute and 30 seconds plays really nicely with just some very small and occasional small pops and clicks. Grade - Ungraded due to burn
Labels: There is some general discolouration to both labels plus a little writing on the A-side label (see scan).
