Description

I bought this copy in suburban Cleveland, Ohio back in the late 80s and took good care of it. The vinyl is the lower end of VG+, looks great, a few light marks, definitely not VG. The cover is high VG, price tag tear (colored in black) and a light break on the title spine, otherwise GREAT. This is a keeper copy AND comes with the a rare Touch & Go catalogue AND a 13 page press pack from 1986.
I loved this band up until Hairway, and in my opinion, this is their best release. Creepy, beautiful, restrained. Not yet the "we're so wacky" BHS that was to come later. This record is legitimately spooky at times. I think this is a whole lot of Paul Leary, who was always my favorite part of this band. Purchase this, blast "Whirling Hall of Knives" and tell me I'm wrong.
