Rare Baby Blue by Echoes - 1960 early White Label SRG 45 101. Flip Boomerang. This record has the Bell Sound Symbol in the gloss part of Dead Wax indicating original issue as told to me by an experienced eBay seller last year. The records predates the regular Seg-way 103 Red Label Record. I would rate this SRG Label at VG or might be + as entire record has glossy appearance... although with some surface scratches...for a rare record, this is one I'd buy if looking but I have the later issue Seg-way which I bought when released in 1961. I'm not really sure about VG+ rating...see scan...looks like very acceptable record. The Record Label looks fine but you may be able to see slight age/Brownish Marks, and not sure if can be cleaned..and Red X on Baby Blue SIde may possibly be removed by a professional...flip side does not have any X or any such mark but does have identical age marks - so label seems decent considering age 56 years for a White Label. This SRG Record is listed in the 1996 Kreiter book of rare records at $100 if Near Mint, and in Popoff 2010 book at $200 if NM. I was advised last year by the same seller that there is a Yellow SRG..but I believe the White would be the first one? The Echoes were a White Doo Wop Group from Brooklyn originally called the Laurels. Jack Gold produced the record under his then SRG Label named for his son Steven Richard Gold - not the current SRG company as this is 1960 record. I will pay for insurance for any higher priced item - .see scan. I want t avoid unnecessary returns but will work with the buyer if any hardship to work with a return.
