Description
This is a well preserved vinyl LP of Badfinger's second album with Apple (SAPCORE 16). Released in November 1970 and bought by me soon after. Just over 51 years ago in fact. It was the first LP I ever bought and I am only selling because archiving my vinyl collection is becoming increasingly difficult. No Dice has No Matter What (SIDE A Track 5), released as a single that made the UK charts and which Badfinger performed live on TOTP. The last track of SIDE A is Without You, co-written by Peter Ham and Tom Evans. The song was heard by Harry Nilsson who recorded his own version which became a smash hit. It was revived again by Mariah Carey in 1993. Sadly, the only scratch on this otherwise pristine copy is on the Without You track. I listened again to this track last night. There is a click that comes in towards the end but it is barely audible on my equipment. I would say that the damage is mainly cosmetic (see photo). However, it is a lesson I learnt in the 1970s not to take your vinyl to a party. First releases of Apple LPs on vinyl are becoming increasingly sought after. Thanks for looking.
