Description
This is another in a series of Barclay-Crocker tapes I'm listing as I go through them carefully.
This is a coupling of two Bohemian composer's symphonies, Martinu's 6th and Vorisek's D Major, interestsingly from composers about a century apart. These were performed by Michael Biloguski conducting the New Philharmonia Orchestra, which of course is the same London players as the Philharmonia before and after they had to become "New", from when they became independent of their management until they reaquired the original name in 1977.
This is on Unicorn D 0309 and is recorded, Dolby encoded, in 4 track stereo at 7 1/2 ips.
All tapes are play tested on one of my own tape decks before listing and I check for no signs of oxide shed during play or fast winding.
