Description

Here is a great 1952 release on the Westminster label (WL-5109). Walter Barylli and Paul Badura-Skoda join to perform Mozart's Violin and Piano Sonatas: In G Major-Minor, K. 379 and In B Flat Major, K. 454. Rare original press with red label and silver print. Very hard to find.

Condition - The jacket shows light wear, and carries pen marks on cover, as well as well as light writing and a price stamp on the back. The jacket grades at VG+. The record has shine, but it has accumulated several marks, most appear light. The record grades at a weak VG+ by sight. I listened to a few tracks, and most sounded about as the looked, with some light background noise which is not too distracting, punctuated by some periodic louder ticks, which were a little distracting, but infrequent. And, as in common in these early Westminster pressing, there are a a couple light bumps on the surface of the record which leads to a short bit of light thudding noise in a couple places. Overall, the record plays about as it looks, with a listening grade of a weak VG+.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
