BAUHAUS: SANITY ASSASSIN/SPIRIT IN THE SKY
EXTREMELY RARE 7" SINGLE.
Originally Available to Fan Club Members only in 1983 when the band announced they were splitting up.
This was the band's final recording as Bauhaus and it is told that only 325 of these singles were pressed but only 275 were sent out. The remaining 50 were apparently thrown out during an office clear out! Extremely Rare is therefore an understatement!!!!
I have had this single since it was sent to me, and although played a few times back in 83, it has been played only once during the last 26 years, and that was to check its condition. The centre labels show some discolouration but this in no way affects the playing surface and both sides are scratch/mark free and play perfectly well. The vinyl I would say is, therefore, in excellent condition.
The sleeve however is obviously age worn with minimal damage to edges (see photo), there are no rips, tears or pen marks at all.

As I said, I have had this since 1983; I was obviously a Fan Club member so therefore will be saddened to part with this treasure. But I feel now is the time to do so and I would be very happy to know that this ultra rare and wonderful piece of history from an inspirational band will be going to a happy home where it will be treated with the respect it deserves!
