   This listing is for an extremely rare mono designated promo copy of The Beach Boys iconic and classic "Pet Sounds" (T-2458) album from 1966. These were only issued to radio stations at the time.  This listing DOES NOT INCLUDE the record which is common and readily available in other listings. 
   The cover is in remarkably good shape for its age.  The cover is a bit yellowed and has ring wear at the top and bottom of the cover but the colors are still good.  The back white slick is yellowed but has not been ripped, marked up, or torn.  The spine and top and bottom are frayed but not ripped open the way Capitol albums sometimes appear due to age.  This cover is in nice shape considering its age.
    The word "PROMO" is drill stamped into the cardboard as Capitol issued all its promo albums in the Mid-Sixties.
    The cover is a #3 Scranton East Coast issue.
