The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
(Capitol T2458 UK LP 1966)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original company "Emitex" paper inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "rainbow rim" Capitol labels. These have the "Sold in UK..." text on them. The "KT" tax code is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are MT 1 and OM 1. This indicates a genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is some light to mild fading to the rear. There is some light to mild ringwear too. There is some rubbing wear at the top & bottom corner of the sleeve opening. VG condition.
Vinyl: There are some moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of light hairline marks too. VG- condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG overall. There is some light to mild crackle in some quieter places. There is some more moderate crackle in a few places too. There are no loud clicks or pops. It does not jump either. The Emitex paper inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There are no seam splits.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
