Description

I've been collecting Beach Boys memorabilia for over 35 years and have decided to open up my archives and let other collectors enjoy some of my treasures. I'm also the author of the novel, The Noble Surfer, published in 2002.

For auction here is an original near mint sealed pressing of Surfin' Safari The Beach Boys (T 1808 Mono 1962). There is a 2.25" slit on the opening edge of shrink wrap. The bottom left and right corners have very slight rubbing through the shrink (1/8"), hardly noticable. There is a small piece (1.5") of shrink wrap missing on the bottom front. You can't see it because it is only on the white border (1/8" high). There is a small slit in shrink (1/2") at top right corner next to T 1808. The shrink is intact but it is a slit. Lastly, there is an imperfection in the shrink wrap on the center front on Mike Love's arm. Even then he caused problems. I've examined it under a magnifying glass and it is not a tear, it is actually excess plastic in the shrink most likely created when the LP was sealed on the shrink wrap machine. It is in no way is a defect in the actual cover. Some people wouldn't even list these imperfections but I feel for an album like this it's important that the potential buyer be given an accurate description. Almost forgot, there is a price sticker on top left of shrink.

This is a beautiful copy of this 45 year old album. The actual cover is very clean with no marks, bends or creases.

I ship worldwide. International bidders can contact me for shipping cost.
