Beastie Boys - 1989 1st Pressing Paul's Boutique Vinyl

This is an awesome original 1989 1st Pressing copy of the Beastie Boys classic Paul's Boutique album.  This album did not initially sell well and early copies are difficult to find today.  As you know, this is an absolute classic album and a must-have for any hip-hip, 80's or alternative collector or for someone who just appreciates good music.  This is the 4-panel gatefold cover verstion with the Beastie Boys records label.  If you are looking for a nice display piece this one is for you.  If you are looking for a flawless listener, I'd pass on this one.

Condition:

Cover - the cover is in nice shape, but does have some minor wear at all for corners.  It's more shelf wear than anything, kind of fuzzy corners.  There are no major bends and there are no tears.  As you can see from the glare on the picture, the original gloss is bright and shiny.  Spine is nice and the original inner sleeve is still there.  The inner sleeve does have a few bends, but no tears and still looks good.  Overall, I'd call the cover an 8 of 10.

Vinyl - the vinyl plays great, without any problems.  There is a some scratching, but nothing super deep.  There is some skipping - I think the amount would depend on your player, but mine did have some skipping throughout.  The label is still very nice with no writing, no tears, no stickers and only some micro spindle wear.  I'd call the vinyl 6 of 10.
