This is Apple Records SKBO-3404.

This is a double-vinyl LP that contains 2 STEREO RECORDS.

The GATEFOLD COVER has the Apple Records logo on the rear at top center.

There is a BLUE APPLE RECORDS STICKER on the rear that lists song titles. The sticker has the Apple Records logo on it. Many of these stickers with their shrink wraps were tossed in the trash as the record buyers tore off the shrink wrap after purchase to play the records and see inside the gatefold covers.

According to Perry Cox, this “greatest hits” package was also known as the “blue hits” collection.

It was released with a discography and 2 custom blue inner sleeves with song lyrics printed on them.

This Apple Records pressing was issued from April 2, 1973 until 1975, because BOTH the cover and the sticker have the Apple logo on them.

The COVER is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION, and it is still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP that has “breathe holes”. (Only moderate wear on the bottom left corner at the base of the spine where the shrink wrap is worn through and moderate wear at the top and bottom corners at the opening where the shrink wrap has receded keep me from grading the cover Near Mint.) The shrink wrap has a small snag on the bottom edge near the center. The blue sticker on the rear shrink wrap has a small tear and light creases (as you can see in the images).

The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with just some very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs. The vinyl has CUSTOM APPLE LABELS with a BLUE BACKGROUND with “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” in perimeter print.

The TWO CUSTOM INNER SLEEVES with song lyrics printed on them are included and in NICE CONDITION. One sleeve has a 2-inch split on the bottom edge.

The 2-SIDED DISCOGRAPHY is also included in NICE CONDITION. One side has the listing of cuts on the red 1962 – 1966 LP and on the blue 1967-1970 LP. The other side lists LP, Single, Cassette and 8-Track Tape releases of the Beatles and as solo artists up to 1973.
