1973 UK 1st PRESSING DOUBLE LP SET
This superb NEAR MINT initial 1973 1st UK pressing double album set is on a custom blue Apple labels: PCS 7182 & PCS 7183
The discs are housed within an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover which omits George Martin's producer credit in the lower right corner of the gatefold.
Complete with both its thick blue card printed lyric inner-sleeves.
Matrix numbers: YEX 909-1, 910-3 & YEX 911-3, 912-1
Stamper codes: 4/-, 3/- & 3/-, 3/-
Disc weight: 139g & 139g

All appear 'as new' set with no more than a handful of light spindle marks/trails to the side 4 centre hole ONLY.
Visual - both discs:MINT
Both of these discs could have easily been purchased yesterday as they are MINT & totally unmarked both strong daylight with just a few barely visible barely visible faint paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp but no scuffs, marks or scratches of any kind.
Play: NEAR MINT
This barely played set sounds clear & clean throughout with exceptional sound quality. I have played all side through in their entirety and am happy to report that all tracks play without any audible faults or wear.
Cover
NEAR MINT
A pristine example which retains a superb undamaged high-gloss laminate all-round with no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing whatsoever. All corners and opening edges are clean & sharp with no bumps, bruising or pushes' anywhere. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and all seams and the perfectly worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit. Tough to find a better set.
Inner-sleeves

Both are 'as new' with no creasing or any stresses or splits to the seams.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
