The Beatles 3rd State Butcher Cover in glorious Mono 'Yesterday & Today' Unique Peel!!!! Original 1966 pressing on Capitol Records T 2553.
A decent peel job with just a few paper losses as noted in the photos but please note the extremely unusual detail left over from the original trunk cover for this LP in the second photograph. Paul's folded hands from the pasted over trunk cover have been carefully preserved and delicately cut out, left behind and happen to cradle the doll head in his lap! An excellently executed peel around this detail from the trunk cover! As stated it is a decent peel (not perfect) with a few flaws from the peeling process. It is unlikely there is another one like it out there! Reasonable opening bid!
LP: This record has had many plays and is visually in fair condition. There are scratches, sleeve marks and is far from new but is still an enjoyable listen. Side 1 - for the most part plays G (Good). There is considerable noise, pops and ticks throughout the quieter parts. Side 2 gets a G- grade and similarly has many marks and therefore plays with multiple ticks and pops throughout, especially heard in the quieter passages.
Labels: Both sides are VG.
Cover: Solid but has seam splits: 1.5" split top right at mouth, approximate 4" split bottom seam and about a 4" center seam on the spine. Soiling on the back cover and overall general wear.
