Beatles 45 1970 Nowhere Man Apple with Black Star on Label, VG+ and SCARCE!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Collectors know that this LA-Only run is one of the hardest ones to complete with copies that are at least in Excellent condition.  This copy is just under Excellent, which means that it’s still a strong grade at VG+.

It straddles the fence between extremely collectible and keeper.

Vinyl: VG+/VG+.  Has just enough light angel hairs to keep it from an Excellent grading.

Plates: F1/F1.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Labels: NM/NM.  Side 2 label has a groovy little crease in the label from the factory.  It’s through the letter “B” in the word, “Beatles.”  You’ll see it.

Sleeve: VG+.  A small breach on the left side of the label hole.  A few finger divots per side.  Moderate wear off of the seam edges.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
