PLEASE NOTE: Due to Thanksgiving being on Thursday, and being that my local library (where I print shipping labels) is closed this Thursday through Sunday, I will ship on Monday and Wednesday next week.  Payments made to me by 11:30am on Wednesday morning will ship Wednesday afternoon.  Payments made after that will have to wait until the following Monday for shipment.  –Ta!

Increasingly seldom-seen Apple with the black star was in the shops for just a few months in 1970 only.  AND they were only issued out of the Los Angeles pressing plant. 

This copy is a very, very nice copy, and will very likely be your keeper.

Sleeve:  Company Apple sleeve is present and in VG+ condition.  As crisp and glossy as the day it was first placed in the record bin in 1970.  Very light record outdent, light to moderate label serration impression.  A few wrinkles that never became as serious as a crease.  Finger divots at the top of both sides.  NO SPLITS.

A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: EX/ EX.  VERY close to NM.

Labels: NM/ NM.  1970-fresh.  Both labels look brand new, full gloss, full brightness.

Plates: F1/ F1.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

These labels are showing up less and less frequently nowadays in favor of younger sellers under the impression that the original labels in VG- condition are rarer than some of these reissues.  It’s a good idea to start buying these up when you see them.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
