Beatles 45 Hello Goodbye 1967 MONO PROMO 100% Genuine NM/EX!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Stunning gorgeous copy of this rare promo!  This copy must have been sent to a Country and Western station, because it looks amazingly new!

MONO mix of “I Am the Walrus” has differences to the stereo mix, most notably that at every “I’m crying” phrase, ALL of the instruments drop out except for one lone cello!

Some promo copies had an extra four bars of music just before the line, “Yellow matter custard” that was mixed out of the MONO and Stereo LP mixes. 

Vinyl: NM/EX.  Side 1 looks very close to being unplayed.  Side 2 has light angel hair scratches only, and not very many of them.

Plates: F7/G6.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Labels: NM/NM.  Thankfully, as with many promo copies, the DJ did NOT write anything all over either label in black magic marker.  Both labels are stunning new-looking with full Capitol gloss.

Sleeve: EX.  With the exception of a slight browned strip down one side, this Capitol sleeve looks just as it did in 1967.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
