DISC AND SLEEVE IMMACULATE, AS NEW, NEVER OFFERED IN THIS PRISTINE AND COMPLETE CONDITION, PLUS ORIGINAL DOUBLE SIDED NEWSLETTER, STILL PROTECTED IN ITS ORIGINAL BROWN MAILING ENVELOPE – PHENOMENAL!
Summary:
’Pantomime Everywhere Its Christmas’, was The Beatles FOURTH Xmas record and was distributed FREE to existing members of The Official UK Beatles Fan Club in December 1966.
In IMMACULATE CONDITION CORNER TO CORNER, we have NEVER offered a better example of this Original 1966 UK Beatles Flaxi Disc, and in our opinion it will be a very long time before we see another in this all round PRISTINE condition.
ENHANCING the INVESTMENT POTENTIAL further is that it comes COMPLETE with its Original Double Sided NEWSLETTER, and if that is not enough, is STILL PROTECTED IN ITS ORIGINAL OUTER MAILING ENVELOPE with the Postal Authorities date stamp, confirming that it was mailed out on ’19 Dec 1966’.
Detailed Description:
The Original 7" Flexi Disc is on the Custom Cream Label with STUNNING Gold Print, together with the Fan Club logo and catalogue number LYN 1145. The Flexi plays at 33 1/3rd rpm. Recorded on 25th November 1966 in the basement studio of Dick James Music at 71, New Oxford Street, London, and was produced by George Martin.
Stamped Matrix:
The official stamped matrix in the trail out groove reads LYN 1145-2G.
The Disc is protected in an absolutely MINT ORIGINAL card Picture Sleeve, printed and Made in England by MacNeill Press Ltd, London, S.E.1 and has two fold over flip backs to the top and bottom of the reverse of the sleeve.
….And comes with its Original Glossy Paper, DOUBLE SIDED National Newsletter Christmas 1966, featuring the printed Newsletter message to the Front and reverse.
The Disc is still protected in its Original Brown Outer Mailing Envelope, in which the 1966 Flexi was mailed out in, back in December 1966. It even has its Original Cardboard Stiffener, which was placed in the mailing envelope to protect the flexi disc from damage in transit! The outer mailing envelope displays a Postal authorities stamp reading ‘East Grinstead, Great Britain’ (from where it was mailed) together with a mailing date of ‘19 Dec 1966’.
Condition:
The Custom ‘Beatles Fan Club’ record label is IMMACULATE and in mint condition – STUNNING, NEW LOOKING label– not a single sign of fading to any of the beautiful Gold printed text, and absolutely NO soiling whatsoever, BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED, the record label cannot be faulted.
The Original 7" Flexi Disc playing surface is in PERFECT mint condition – STUNNING, FLAT, CAN’T FAULT IT, LOOKS TO BE UNPLAYED!
It would be unjust to grade this Original card Picture sleeve in any less than mint condition – It’s STUNNING, looks like it has just been manufactured. The sleeve has been so carefully preserved from light and pollutants over the years, stored in its Original Mailing Envelope, it is still PERFECTLY FLAT and SQUARE with NO fading to the the very colorful image to the front, nor the printed text to the reverse. There is NO discoloration, NO age toning, NO creasing, NO tearing, NO handwriting, NO corner bumps, NO edge splitting to any part , and for the sake of complete accuracy, just the tiniest ‘rub’ mark to the bottom right hand side in the black area of the sleeve – this is so insignificant and most would not mention it!
The Original DOUBLE SIDED Newsletter is in BEAUTIFUL mint condition, NO tearing NO creasing, NO handwriting and NO imperfections.
The Original Brown Mailing Envelope (in which this 1966 disc was sent to the Fan Club Member back in December 1966) is VERY RESPECTABLE, showing some wear and a couple of tears to the top opening edge. It clearly shows the recipient’s printed address. There is ‘Records Do Not Bend’ printed stamp to the front of the mailing envelope. The Postal authorities date stamp of ‘19 Dec 1966’is clearly printed. Please note it is considered VERY RARE for these Original Mailing envelopes to survive - most were thrown away at the time after the Fan Club member had received the disc.
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, TOP DRAWER Rarity in every way. It would be virtually IMPOSSIBLE, if not Impossible, to find a better example – not to be missed!
