Description
This very limited original Apple LP was mailed to members of the Beatles Fan club back in 1970. It was never on sale to the public. The vinyl is in near perfect condition. The only reason this not graded mint is due to the very slight pressing fault. You can see a minute tiny bump in the second last of the pictures below. Note that the pic is extremely close up to show how very small it is. The rest of this record is in superb condition.
It has only been played once, maybe twice and still has some static. The edges on the vinyl are still sharp & the vinyl looks like new. This 1970 UK Fan Club Only release was pressed on the dark green Apple label: LYN 2153 & LYN 2154. The disc contains all seven of The Beatles' Christmas messages which originally appeared on the flexi-discs sent out to their fans from 1963 to 1969. The matrix code on side 1 has the number LYN 2153 on the label with the matrix code LYN 2154 on the run-out. Side 2 has the number LYN 2154 on the label with the matrix code LYN 2513 on the run-out. The front laminated 'West Brothers" Cover is Vg to Vg+ with some foxing to the bottom which is caused over time by chemicals in the paper used at the time.
The labels are perfect on this thick heavy orlake pressing & have what looks like just one spindle trail on each side.
