READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles 6-LP Lot, “Introducing the Beatles” 3 Different Labels, All MONO VERSION 2

*All copies are VG to VG+.

*All have generic white inner sleeves.

*All labels list “Introducing the Beatles” and “The Beatles” above their playholes, confirming that all copies are genuine pressings.

*All copies with the rainbow have the color green, confirming that all copies are genuine pressings.

*All pressings are mastered so that their trail-off areas don’t exceed 1 ¼ inch, confirming that all copies are genuine pressings.

*All covers read “Please, Please Me” on the back cover, confirming that copies with the comma printed in the title are plentiful and not rare, as many sellers claim.

Vinyl--- Strong VG/ VG.  Many would grade this one VG+.

Plates--- Hand-etched Delta symbol preceding the job number, scratched-out machine-stamped “MR” in a circle.

Cover--- VG.  Presents well, but bottom seam is split halfway.

Labels--- VG+/ VG+.  Light spindle marks.  Rainbow label with small, center-justified text.  Large VJ Brackets logo.

Vinyl--- VG solid.

Plates--- “Audio Matrix,” ARC 2214, “URJ,” A1 and the very light date etched, “2-12-64.”/ “Audio Matrix,” ARC 2174, “URJ,” A1 and the very light date etched, “2-11-64.”/

Cover--- G.

Labels--- VG.  Presents well, but there are a lot of spindle marks.  Rainbow label with medium, left-justified text.  Large VJ Brackets logo.

Vinyl--- VG+/ VG+.  Nice copy.

Plates--- Machine-stamped “MR” in a circle, the Delta symbol preceding the job number and the number, 63-3402 on both sides and 63-3402/ 63-3403 on each respective side.

Cover--- VG-.  Moderate wear all around, staining and writing on back cover.

Labels--- NM/ NM.  Brand new-looking labels.  Sparklies in the photos aren’t dust.  They’re reflections off of the textured surface.  Rainbow label with small, center-justified text.  Large VJ Brackets logo.  Beautiful copy!

Vinyl--- Strong VG.  Some would grade this copy as VG+.

Plates--- Hand-etched Delta symbol preceding the job number, scratched-out machine-stamped “MR” in a circle.

Cover--- VG+.  All seams are sturdy, NO SPLITS.  Full glossy front slick.  Name written on front cover at the top right.

Labels--- VG. Heavy spindle marks.  All black label with center-justified text.  Thick font for the titles.  Block Letters VJ logo.

Vinyl--- Strong VG.  Almost as nice as the above copy!

Plates--- Hand-etched Delta symbol preceding the job number, scratched-out machine-stamped “MR” in a circle.

Cover--- VG-.  All seams have shelfwear, loss of seam slick, but no splits.  Name written on front cover at the top right, back cover, top left.  Original Sam Goody price sticker still affixed to the back bottom right cover.  Neat!

Labels--- VG+. Moderate spindle marks.  All black label with center-justified text.  Scarcer thin font for the titles.  Block Letters VJ logo.

Vinyl--- Strong VG.  About the same as the above copy!

Plates--- Hand-etched Delta symbol preceding the job number, scratched-out machine-stamped “MR” in a circle.

Cover--- Poor.  Someone made a lame attempt at repairing the damage.

Labels--- EX/ EX.  Light spindle marks.  All black label with center-justified text.  Scarcer thin font for the titles.  Block Letters VJ logo.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
