The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It has a mid sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Parlophone Co. Ltd...", "recording First..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press XEX 481-3N and XEX 482-3N matrix numbers. The mother stampers are GTO 3 and GLD 3 respectively. A genuine UK Mono 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate fading & staining on the rear sleeve. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some fading to the white of the front sleeve. There is some light or mild ringwear. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some mild to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 light hairline marks. They measure from 2 cm to 4 cm in length. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show moderate spindle wear. The Emitex company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall & even Near Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a couple of light clicks onn two separate tracks.
