This excellent UK 1st mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both have the 'Sold in UK...' text and 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label
Matrices: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper codes: 7/AAP & 7/AGM
Vinyl weight: 148g
Housed in a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a mid-sized front mono indicator.
Complete with original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex..' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair bearing with some spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole mainly.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight, bearing only some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve visible directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Played with care, the sound throughout is powerful and clear with no clicks, pops or any other such distraction. In fact, aside form a little background on the run-ins and slight playwear on the two innermost tracks, there is little to fault and still much to enjoy here.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A lovely clean & strong example with a clean & glossy front panel showing only a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle. All corners are nice and square and there are just once or two small 'pushes' to the front opening edge. The rear panel is clean 6 bright with just a one or two faint handling marks but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with no writing, tears or seam splits.
