CONDITION
Disc
Visual: Side 1: EXC+/MINT- Side 2: MINT-
The disc has all of its original sheen and can only have been played a few times since new. Side 1 is virtually blemish free with only the faintest of marks visible on close inspection. Side 2 has no marks except the faintest whispy sleeve removal marks which are only visible on close inspection under a strong halogen desklight.
Audio: MINT-
An outstanding audiophile copy with absolutely no surface noise or loss of audio quality whatsoever. (It's as quiet as a CD!) All run ins and gaps are completely silent (except tiny surface noise in the gap between track 4 and 5). Tracks such as ‘If I Fell’, ‘And I Love Her’ and ‘Things We Said’ have breathtaking audio. A beautiful and stunning sounding copy which will not disappoint; one for an audiophile collector. Needless to say the record does not jump or stick.
Labels: Side 1 MINT- Side 2 EXC+/ MINT-
A fresh set off labels on this the earliest chunky type face. Side 2 has a printers thumbprint which was done during manufacture. There are some very faint spindle trails on side 2 but only one faint trail to side 1. There is no writing to either label. Side one has the rare and very early MT tax code
Cover
EXCELLENT
An original 1964 Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending cover. The front cover has some bruising and wear to the bottom corners and some light handling marks. The laminate is however unworn and still retains its glossy sheen. The rear panel shows some signs of ageing and yellowing. The spine is uncrushed and fully intact, as are all flipbacks.
Inner-sleeve Excellent +
Original 1964 rice paper inner.
