The Beatles - Abbey Road

(Apple 5C P062-04243 LP 1979)

This is a 1979 original Limited Edition Picture Disc LP pressing. Manufactured in the Netherlands for the UK merket. It has a front die-cut matt sleeve. It has a period polythene lined plain inner sleeve. It is missing its original clear polythene/ PVC inner sleeve. The Picture Disc is pressed on thick vinyl & has a black outer rim. This is a genuine 1st pressing. These are not that common.



Sleeve: At some point another sleeve has got stuck to the front sleeve. It has left some rips/ tears to the front sleeve in some areas. This can be clearly seen on the photograph. Otherwise, there is some light or mild rubbing wear, in a few areas, to the top & bottom edges. There are no seam splits. Good++ condition

Vinyl: There is a light to very mild warp. It doesn't notice too much & does not affect playback at all. Otherwise, it looks unplayed & in Very Near Mint condition! But because of the light to very mild warp, I will grade it Very NEAR EX condition. The period poly-lined inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There are no seam splits.

The LP plays Excellent or better. Obviously, being a picture disc, the quality is not as good as a normal LP.
