THE BEATLES Abbey Road
1978 U.K. reissue of "Abbey Road." Apple Records, catalog # PCS 7088. The matrix sequences are listed in the headline of this ad. The EMI inner sleeve shows an abbreviation of 478 (meaning a manufacture/release date of this particular package in April 1978).
The vinyl is clean, the labels are clean. Play-graded in overall VG++ condition (a little surface noise can be heard between some tracks; a few pops just after "Here Comes the Sun"), a grade often referred to as Excellent. Real nice!
Has been in a proper plastic outer sleeve for a very-very long time, with the record nestled in a Discwasher VRP inner sleeve.
The fully-laminated record cover is graded Near Mint; no spine rubbing, edgewear, fading, ring wear, splits or any other problems...a very picky grading, due to a couple of very minor "ripples lines" in the laminate itself, at the edges, the sort of thing you don't notice until you examine close-up; many wouldn't hesitate to call it Mint.
