THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK 1st PRESSING LP
This well-looked after and great sounding 1969 UK 1st pressing is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7070
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' title.
Housed in a fully laminated cover with the Apple logo misaligned beneath the rear tracklisting on the rear panel.
Complete with its original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1

A rich and vibrant set with just a small number light spindle trails to each centre hole but no other signs of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, clean & glossy surfaces which are unmarked & bear no surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a sparkling rainbow shine and little more than a few harmless stylus hairlines on side 1 but no visible blemishes on side 2 at all.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This fine sounding copy has received a small number of careful plays on top-quality equipment. The sound quality throughout my careful play check at volume was exceedingly high and I could hear no evidence whatsoever of any groove/play wear or background noise on or between any track. Even the exposed passages such as the delicate introductions of 'Here Comes The Sun' & 'You Never Give Me Your Money', were free from any audible distractions, making this copy an extremely enjoyable listen.

EXCELLENT
An extremely well preserved, high-gloss & unworn example which displays minimal signs of handling wear and no major faults. The front retains all of its high-gloss finish with just a single 5cm light crease just behind George's back but no 'thumbnails'. There is a small crease in the laminate from manufacture towards the front opening edge but no other blemishes or wear. All corners are unbumped and both opening edges are free from any tears or feathering. The rear panel is immaculate and faut-free & both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged.

Clean, flat & fully intact with slight storagewear but no tears, splits or writing to any part.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
