Description
I have been collecting records for decades and the time has come for some of them to find a new home. Most will be in excellent condition, some have been in my family for years and remain unplayed. I will grade them all fairly and listen to most before listing.
All of them will be professionally cleaned before being sent.

Up for auction here is a Rare first Uk pressing of the Beatles Lp Abbey Road. This was released in the Uk on Apple in 1969 catalogue number PCS 7088.
This copy has the misaligned Apple logo on the rear and no credit for Her Majesty anywhere on the sleeve or label.
It has the matrix numbers YEX 749- 2 on side 1 and YEX 750 -1 on side 2.
The mother stampers are MOO on side 1 and AGA on side 2.
The vinyl is visually in Excellent condition and looks in very nice shape. There are a couple of light superficial sleeve removal type marks and what looks like a pin head size pressing mark on side 1 which causes a few clicks at the start of Oh Darling.
I have listened to the vinyl at high volume and it plays through really well. There is some light background crackle and the odd click ( as mentioned) on both sides but on the whole it plays nicely and sounds really good. I will grade the audio as Very Good+.
The labels are in Excellent condition. They do not have the Her Majesty credits.
The original Garrod and Lofthouse laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition with some very light ringwear to the front and slight creasing. It has the misaligned Apple logo on the rear
Overall a really nice copy of this classic.
All of my records will be sent well packed so they arrive as intended. Depending on the value they will be sent insured and tracked delivery.
I use Record Collector ratings to grade my vinyl. These are :
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
