Description

Offered here is this classic U.S. lp BEATLES VI Capitol T 2358. Originally released in 1965, this particular variation is the LATE 1966 or EARLY 1967 pressing. This lp is unique cause this is a Jacksonville later pressing with machine parts that pressed the album from the East & West coast. On side 1 the machine stamper are from SCRANTON plant, and side 2 the machine stamper are from L.A. to produce this BEATLES title for the Midwest States cause Capitol’s Jacksonville pressing plant didn’t have their own pressing plates for this title yet. The only thing Jacksonville produced for this title was the in-house labels for the lp and the cover which has a # 4 on the back. (Please checkout photos) So apparently all 3 Capitol plants was involved in producing this title for the Midwest market, and Jacksonville MONO pressings for this title are more SCARCE than it’s STEREO counterpart, and more SCARCE than it’s MONO counterpart in the EAST and WEST coast, and MONO was phasing out by late 67 when MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR was released. The album is at best VG++ condition with NM labels, the cover grades at VG+ more or less with some discoloration and minor dirt ring impression on the back cover, about an inch and a half at the bottom at the mouth opening, couple minor crackling spots along the spine, no writing or other splits, a solid cover still, and comes with it’s original tan Capitol inner sleeve. Im putting a reserve price on this cause I’m confident that serious BEATLES collectors will find this variation interesting and unique. So if you’re looking for this hard to find MONO variation for this title which doesn’t seem to come around often, look right here folks!
