ALL IN THEIR ORIGINAL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE THREE FLIP BACK MONO SLEEVES, ALL ARE 100% ORIGINAL.
The Beatles ‘REVOLVER’ album - considered one of most ICONIC and COLLECTIBLE Albums of the 20th Century - was released by Parlophone UK on August 5th 1966. EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER by Collectors around the World today.
Album Description/Condition:
This ORIGINAL collection of five 1966 UK Parlophone HEAVYWEIGHT MONO Vinyl LPs are all on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Sold in UK…..’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
All of the record labels range between Very Good Plus & Excellent condition, the record labels are undamaged and each show light centre spindle lines, there is no handwriting to any of the record labels. All record labels show the abbreviated song title **Dr Robert**
The matrix numbers on three of the records are: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 XEX 606-2. The matrix numbers on the other two records are: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 XEX 606-3. (Please note, there are no XEX 606-1s in this collection).
The embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible on all of the record labels.
All sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT vinyl surfaces are in Very Good Plus condition, some are slightly better, all vinyl surfaces are clean, showing just light surface hairline scratches, i have carefully inspected the vinyl surfaces and there are no deep scratches or scuffs to any of the sides. The scans below show all five individual records and sleeves.
Each vinyl LP comes in a lined use EMITEX inner bag, and are inVery Good condition.
…And all are housed in their ORIGINAL, Front LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending sleeves, each are printed **mono** to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and each have three flip backs to the reverse.
The sleeves are in respectable Very Good Plus condition, there is no damage to any of the sleeves, they all show light age wear and mild age toning, there is no hand writing or tearing to any of the sleeves, one has a small record shop sticker on the reverse, the spine edges are undamaged and clearly printed ‘Revolver-The Beatles’.
A nice collection of five, of one the most collected Beatles albums, all are original 1966 issues.
