Wonderful sounding UK 1964 1st MONO pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Matrix numbers: XEX 503-4N & XEX 504-3N

Housed within an outer-laminated mono gatefold cover, complete with original lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT +
This outstanding sounding copy has been barely played and shows just 2/3 light spindle trails on the side 1 label, and just one on side 2. Both playing surfaces are unmarked in strong daylight with just a few wispy paper hairlines beneath halogen light. There is a faint number '2' written on the side 1 label, but apart from that it is flawless. Audibly it shines throughout - free from any crackle or trace of groove/play wear distortion - even on the fragile 'Mr Moonlight' organ solo. This is as good a sounding copy of this pressing as you will ever need.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Clean, glossy & fully intact all-round, this fragile cover bears just a couple of light wrinkles to its delicate front leaf. All corners are in fine shape and there are no tears to the central hinge or any blemishes inside the gatefold. The spine is clean & white and all the wording is perfect. Tough to find better.
