THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This immaculate UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK....' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover & original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex'..' inner-sleeve

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A perfectly clean & unblemished pair with just a small handful light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine playing surfaces which retain all of their factory-fresh, deep-gloss shines. Side 1 is totally unmarked in strong daylight, whilst side 2 bears nothing more than two small (1cm & 2cm) non-feeable surface scuffs. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything futher than a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines. Both sides of this well looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
There is little doubt this great sounding copy has been played more than a handful of times on quality equipment. The sound is clear & warm, free from any groove/playwear distortion or background crackle/interference. Even the most easily worn areas such as 'Ticket to Ride' & the exposed 'Yesterday' play perfectly. The only distraction which caught my ear during my play-check were 3/4 faint ticks on 'I've Just Seen A Face'. However there are very faint and do not, in my opinion, spoil the enjoyment of this original stereo mix.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptional example of this easily blemished cover which has been carefully stored in a non-smoking environment these past 46 years. The high-gloss front panel is perfectly clean, unyellowed and free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or heavy spine bends.
All corners are in superb, unworn shape with just a tiny bruise to the lower left corner visible only from the rear. There is a hint of wear to the rear opening edge but no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel is completely unblemished - no stains, marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just a few gentle storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
