Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 1255
With 'Sold in UK..' label text
'Gramophone Co..' rims
'KT' tax/price code on side 2 label.
Front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix nos: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stampers: 5/ATO & 2/AHH

Just a single spindle line on side 2.
Visual: 1. NEAR MINT 2. EXCELLENT
Side 1 is pristine, 'as new' & unmarked. Side 2 displays just two light hairline scractches and some wispy paper hairlines beneath halogen light. There are no further marks or wear on this outstanding copy.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been barely, if ever played and all tracks play without any trace of any background crackle or groovewear distortion anywhere. Even 'Yesterday' and the opening chords to 'I Need You' are completely clean & totally unworn. Apart from a few light ticks between one or two tracks there is little to fault on this superb sounding copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A pristine white example with an glossy, unscratched front laminate which bears just a single, 'thumbnail' crease. There is slight bruising to the corners but both opening edges are in perfect, untouched condition. The rear is as clean and white as it was new, with just a line of glue residue in the upper right corner. All flipbacks, both seams & the spine are in perfect condition.
