1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP

Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 1255

Both labels include  with 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.

An 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.

Housed in the r front laminated, tri-flipback ' GARROD & lOFTHOUSE' mid-sized mono cover.

Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Matrix nos: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2

Stampers: 6/TM & 7GGH

Disc weight: 158g


Condition. Labels: Near mint just the smallest of spindle wear

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Totally pristine & totally unmaked surfaces in daylight which bear no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever. Apart from some wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly under halogen light, this copy displays no signs of visible wear whatsoever.

Play: Near perfect

This superb copy has clearly just a few careful plays and sounds clear and clean throughout without any significant or major audible faults.

EXCELLENT +

An outstanding example of this rare sleeve with a pristine, high-gloss front laminate which bears just one 'thumbnail'crease 1st press pinched spine any . The corners are all in excellent shape and both opening edges are clean, sharp and undamaged. The rear panel is clean and white with no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are in perfect condition and the spine & seams are all undamaged. Hard to find better and this is one of the hardest Beatles Lp's to find in nice condition
