Description
THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This scarce UK MONO pressing dates from mid-1969 and is on the final incarnation of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK..' text but retains 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
There is no purchase tax code is visible around the centre of either 1 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 9/MDT & 1,8/ATA
Vinyl weight: 142g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & bright with moderate amount of spindle marks around the side 2 centre hole but no major faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surface are clean & glossy displaying several light surface marks and hairline on each side, but nothing deep of 'feelable'. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp add some wispy paper hairlines but no further significant blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
The respectable sounding copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and is without any significant or major audible faults. My single careful play-check at volume detected some minor play wear in the innermost tracks, but no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A strong and unworn example with some general light storagewear but no major faults. The front panel is clean & unblemished with just some minor storage wear to the rear. There is a little wear to the laminate on the lower part of the spine but no stresses or splits anywhere.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
General wear with two seams splits but no writing or heavy creases.
