THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
By the time this disc was pressed in late summer 1969, mono was a dead format. Only a single small batch was pressed with this label variation.
Unlike all of their other albums released on this later yellow & black label, 'Help!' was the poorest seller and is now the hardest to find.
This was the final UK mono pressing of the '60s and bears the last incarnation of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255.
Matrices: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 9/MDT & 1,8/ATA
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in a correct thin card stock front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

This well looked after disc retains clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing one or two insignificant turntable marks in strong daylight along with some harmless wispy paper marks from the inner-sleeve directly beneath halogen light. Both labels are clean & undamaged with a small collection of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Carefully played on quality equipment only, the audio retains all the warmth and presence of earlier pressings but without the interference usually associated with earlier pressings. Our play-check detected the usual low-level vinyl background between tracks but no other significant or major distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with light handling & storagewear only. Both the front and rear panels are bright white and unblemished with no writing or missing paper anywhere. Both seams and the spine are unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no writing tears or seam splits.
