READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Beatles LP 1965 The Early Beatles MONO Weird Hybrid of All Three Plants, NM!

In the summer of 1965, the Jacksonville, Illinois plant went online, who in their early days were shipped components from the Los Angeles and Scranton plants to get started.  A few of those early discs ended up with components from more than one plant.  This copy has components from all three plants, and is in astonishing condition!

Vinyl--- NM/NM.  Both sides look brand new-shiny and unplayed-looking!

Plates--- P7/F1.  Side 1 plate has Jacksonville’s machine-stamped letter “O.”  Side 2 plate has the old-style Scranton insignia of the machine-stamped anvil, which predated the “IAM” triangle.  But this side also has a hand-etched “O.”

Cover--- VG.  Presents well, but the cover has been taped in a couple places.  This is a Los Angeles promo cover, with the ¼-inch hole punch. 

MONO promo covers are rare.

Labels--- NM/NM.  Brand new-looking, fresh and bold labels, NO SPINDLE MARKS.

The labels are also from the Los Angeles plant, whose numeral “1” on side 1 has the hat, as opposed to the straight line. 

**Also notice that this copy has no space between the album’s title and the band members’ names.  See compere photo.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- NM.  Yellow Capitol inner sleeve is present, has the corresponding promo hole in the upper corner.  This is the original sleeve that came with this LP.  NO SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 9. MONO covers with the 9 RIAA number are scarce.

This copy will make an incredible Christmas gift for some lucky collector who seems hard to buy for.  Or keep it for yourself, and don’t say a thing!

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
