READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1969 Help! Black Label “Subsidiary of…” in Shrink, Beautiful LA Copy, NM!
Album cover is still in shrink, about 90%. Gatefold has never been opened in 55 years!
Vinyl--- NM/NM. This LP looks like it was just opened. Incredibly beautiful vinyl.
Plates--- A13/ B12. Very early refreshed plates for the 1969 run. Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.
Cover--- EX. I’d be tempted to also grade it NM, but there is some light dirt on the front cover at the top. Back cover has some ringwear to the shrink only. Did NOT transfer to the cover below!
For those of us old enough to remember, the inside pocket still smells like having just opened a brand new album!
Breathe Holes--- There is one breathe hole on the front cover in the letter “L” in “Beatles.” There is one breathe hole on the back cover to the left of the word, “Eastmancolor” in green.
Labels--- NM/NM. These labels look just like they did on the printed label sheets, just as they were stamped into the vinyl glob.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX. A few LA inner sleeves for the 1969 runs of both the black and green Capitol labels were solid grey with no die-cut holes for the labels to show. This is one of those. Promo hole in upper corner. Bottom seam has a 1 ½-inch center split.
A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.
RIAA: N/A.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
