The Beatles –Help!– Genuine 1965 UK 1st mono pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label with ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, catalogue number PMC 1255. Dating to the original release date of 6th August 1965.
MINT graded audiophile copy. Absolute stunning sound quality throughout.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2N (Please note – 1N was not used on any mono 1st press Help! issue)

Audio: MINT
A stunning sounding audiophile copy with no surface noise audible between tracks. Amazing clarity throughout with absolutely no groovewear or distrortion to any of the music signals. Tracks such as ‘The Night Before’ and ‘You’ve Got to Hide your Love way’ are breathtaking. The easily damaged ‘Yesterday’ is distortion free with no surface noise on the run in as is the easily damaged ‘Dizzy Miss Lizzy’. There are no pops or ticks or any other audible distractions. The record does not jump or stick. The audio on this copy will not disappoint and is for the discerning audio collector.
Visual: EXCELLENT
A well preserved disc with no significant marks. Side one has a very faint hairline visible in daylight. Side two has a non feelable fingernail scuff mark visible in daylight, but does not effect play. On closer inspection under harsh halogen lighting whispy sleeve removal marks become visible. The heavy duty vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable. There are no feelable marks or marks that could be described as a scratch or effect the audio in anyway.

Fresh looking labels with some visible spindle trails. The KT tax code is visible on side 1.
Cover
EXCELLENT+
An original 1st issue patents pending 1965 Garrod & Lofthouse cover in a superb state of preservation. The back panel is clean and free from any writing or discolouration. The front panel retains its high gloss laminate sheen and shows very little signs of handling. The spine is uncrushed with the writing clearly visible.
Inner-sleeve Excellent +
Original and correct Emitex rice paper inner.
