Description
The Beatles - Songs from the film "Help!"
This exceptional copy of the Beatles' fifth studio album is a UK 1st pressing STEREO recording on the much sought after yellow and black Parlophone label.
The mother stampers suggest that the vinyl was one of the first few thousand produced and was probably sold on the first day of sales.
The vinyl is housed within the original front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve with mid-sized, outline 'STEREO' text to the top right hand corner of the front side.
The album is complete with the original rice-paper lined die-cut Emitex 'protect your records' inner sleeve.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. No spindle marks are visible on either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl exhibits immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are blemish free in strong daylight. Under the haze of a halogen bulb wispy hairlines marks can be seen alongside a rainbow sheen. A really strong example.
Sound Quality: MINT -
The audio is fantastic. This copy has clearly been played cautiously on good quality equipment. There is no sign of groove/play wear. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and minimal static in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy bass. You will struggle to find a better listening experience - a true final upgrade example.
The sleeve looks shop-new. The front retains a glossy finish with bright colours. The rear is very clean overall. A small area of discolouration is evident on the opening edge. There is no ring wear, fully readable spine without wear, top and bottom edge without wear. The corners are sharp and crisp.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is very clean, has minimal discolouration and shows only minor creasing. The vinyl is housed within an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
