Some pretty hard-to-find, rarely seen items up this week. Have a look at them all!
Beatles LP Introducing The Beatles MONO HARDEST LABEL VARIATION OF THEM ALL
Vinyl--- VG. Moderate scratches to both sides. None are feelable, plenty of gloss remaining. Plays with surface noise, so please remoisturize this one. It deserves it!
Plates--- “Audio Matrix” and “URJ” stamps present, as well as the date, 2-6-64 on both sides. “Audio Matrix” stamp is worn by this point.
Cover--- A beauty. Structurally solid, little wear overall. No splits, great gloss. Two mystery dots on back cover, to the left of “Misery” title. STRONG cover.
Vee Jay Inner Sleeve--- Pretty good. One seam is split in two places, the rest are solid. Glue stripes down each side, which is common for Vee Jay inner sleeves. Presents very well.
Labels: All black labels with the small Vee Jay brackets logo. You can go your entire lifetime, and never see another one of these in person. This is only the second copy that I’ve ever seen since 1975, and that’s with hard, concerted looking. This copy has the “Coffin-King” error in the songwriting credits for “Chains.” I’ve seen two other copies for sale on eBay over the years, and both of them had the corrected “Goffin-King.” The Side 2 label has a cool printing error that printed several ghost images of the Vee Jay brackets logo in semicircle!
Note: All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment. An additional inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your Vee Jay inner sleeve en route.
CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. I’m selling these records in order to meet my rent, bills and doctor’s appointments. A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl. However, I am happy to by request. As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
