Box
Slipcase: VERY GOOD +
A clean and fully intact example which still holds its shape with uncrushed ends. Apart from five small 'nicks' along the lower front edge, the cover bears only general light storage rubbing consistent with its age.
Outer Tray: VERY GOOD +
Clean & fully intact, again with uncrushed sides which bear with usual wear along the exposed edges, but the rarer rounded inner-flaps are uncreased and unworn.
Inner Tray: EXCELLENT
This, the most fragile component is is superb shape without any tears to the easily damage corners where the book sat. Its only flaw is a small tear to one of the fold-over edges.
Book: EXCELLENT
A clean & complete example which retains an unscratched, uncreased jacket. Inside there all pages are present but there are 5 which are loose. There is also some creasing to the title page as you can see in the above right image. The spine is clean & 'uncracked' making this a respectable example of this fragile publication.
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unfaded pair which bear just a handful of spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Overall Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. The only significant blemishes are a 2.5cm hairline scratch on side 1 covering 'Dig It' and half of 'Let It Be', together with some light turntable scuffs on side 1. However, side 2 is is unmarked.
Overall Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has not been played very much at all and the sound quality throughout is clean, warm & clear. My careful playcheck uncovered no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion, just a few light clicks on the fade-in to 'Dig It' and on the opening verse of 'Let It Be', due to the aforementioned scratch. However, there are no further significant audible faults or distractions and side 2 plays flawlessly
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A superb example with a completely unscratched front and rear high-gloss panels, where the only sign of wear are two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles on the front and a single one on the rear. All corners are perfectly sharp & square and there is no damage to either opening edges.
Both seams and the spine are all smooth, unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a few gentle wrinkles from storage.
Poster: EXCELLENT
This genuine (not a recent reproduction) is factory folded and has never been hung. It bears a few soft handling wrinkles, but no tears or missing pieces.
