THE BEATLES - LET IT BE
1970 UK 'PXS 1' *BOX SET*
This overall VERY GOOD, 100% original & complete UK manufactured set comprises:
- Fully laminated outer slip-case
- Both original inner & outer cardboard trays
- The glossy soft-back 'Get Back' book containing exclusive pictures & transcripts from the recording of the album.
- The 'Let It Be' LP with -2U/-2U matrices & red Apple logo on the rear cover.
- Original Apple Record promotional poster.
- My grading is strict & conservative grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Every image in this listing has been taken by ourselves and are of the actual item for sale. We do not copy from other listings or use stock images.
- All records are professionally & securely & carefully double-boxed in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.

CONDITION
Outer Slipcase
VERY GOOD
This respectable example remains strong and in-shape with light to moderate general storage/handling wear. The exposed outer edges show some wear and there is a 1cm tear to one of the rear edges. There are also two small indentations below George's portrait. Both the upper & lower edges are clean with just minor shelfwear to the lower end but no other problems.
Trays
Outer: VERY GOOD
This is also fully intact and retains its shape with just slight wear to the edges of the exposed outer edges, but no damage or wear to either of the fold-over flaps. There is a small 1cm tear to one of the corners visible from the rear but no other major blemishes.
Inner: GOOD
All parts of this extremely fragile and delicate are present and in-shape. However one corner has become detached and some repair work done at some point to two other corners.
Book
VERY GOOD
A clean & complete copy with some loss of gloss to the jacket and a touch of wear to the front edge but no tears or missing pieces. All pages are inside are present but a few have come partially loose from the glued binding. The spine is undamaged and fully worded.
LP Record
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.
Complete with original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper codes: 1,7/GPL & 6/GRR
Disc weight: 142g
LP CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & undamaged pair showing just a small collection of light spindle marks around each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Clean & glossy but with some light surface marks in strong daylight and numerous light wispy marks beneath halogen light, but nothing deep or feelable.
Play: VERY GOOD +
A respectable sounding copy with no significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout. The only significant fault are some repeating light clicks on 'Let It Be'.
LP Cover
Cover
VERY GOOD
A clean & strong example with general moderate handling & storagewear but no tears, splits or any other major faults.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & white with no writing, splits or tears.
Poster
VERY GOOD
Clean & factory folded with the only blemish being a 2cm tear toward the upper part of the left edge.
